Claremont primary trips are a vital part of children’s education as they are given the opportunity discover and consolidate their learning in a different environment - and they’re really
fun!
However, they take a lot of coordination and lots of adults to make them successful.
We are aware parents would like to join their children on the trips and therefore to make this easy and smooth sailing. We have attached guidance on the do's and the don'ts of a trip and what to be aware of.

Volunteers for Trips If your child is in Reception, Y1 & Y2 they will be entitled to a universal free school meal packed lunch provided by the school. Packed lunch provided from the school will be a HEALTHY packed lunch. The kitchen staff will take into consideration if your child has any known allergies.
If your child is in Y3, Y4, Y5 & Y6 you will be required to bring in a HEALTHY packed lunch, however if you are entitled to free school meals. The school will provide you a packed lunch.
Under the mayoral universal free school meal scheme, all children from Y3 to Y6 are entitled to a free school meal for this academic year.
Please ensure your child brings a backpack on the trip, along with a bottle of water. They must be wearing full school uniform on the trip and weather appropriate shoes.
